GEO PhotoMark ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the GEO PhotoMark mobile application, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

By downloading, registering with, or using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2 Information We Collect

We collect information that helps us deliver location-verified photography, attendance and safety features:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number and password used to create and secure your account.
• Location data — GPS coordinates, address and map data captured at the time a photo is taken, or during Check-In, Check-Out and SOS events.
• Photos & media — images captured through the app's camera along with the location stamp overlaid on them.
• Device information — device model, operating system, unique device identifiers and app version.
• Notes & QR data — text notes and QR codes you choose to save within the app.
• Usage data — how you interact with app features, for analytics and product improvement.

3 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Stamp photos with accurate location, address, map and coordinates.
• Record and verify Check-In and Check-Out attendance for field teams.
• Trigger and route Emergency SOS alerts to configured contacts or the admin panel.
• Provide the admin dashboard with photo logs, GPS tracking and analytics for organizations that manage field staff.
• Maintain, secure and improve the app, and communicate important updates to you.

4 Location & Camera Data

GEO PhotoMark requests camera and precise location permissions because they are core to the app's function. Location is captured only when you take a photo, or when Check-In, Check-Out or SOS features are actively used — the app does not track your location continuously in the background unless your organization's admin has enabled a live GPS tracking mode for field monitoring, which is disclosed to you at sign-up.

5 Emergency SOS Data

When you trigger the SOS feature, we capture your real-time location and share it with your designated emergency contacts and/or your organization's admin panel, so appropriate help can be dispatched quickly. SOS event logs are retained for safety and audit purposes as described in Section 8.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

7 Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure with access restricted to authorized personnel. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and regular security reviews — to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8 Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account, photo and location data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations. If your account belongs to an organization, records such as attendance and SOS logs may be retained by the organization's admin as part of their internal record-keeping.

You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data at any time from the app's Settings, or via our Delete Account page. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

9 Your Rights & Choices

• Access, review or correct your account information from within the app.
• Switch off location or camera permissions from device settings.
• Request a copy of your data by contacting our support team.
• Permanently delete your account and data at any time.

10 Children's Privacy

GEO PhotoMark is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
